Children’s Programs
The Lighthouse Point Yacht & Racquet Club Kids Program is a supervised children's program that is filled with fun sports, games, arts and crafts, swimming pool play, and exciting adventures geared to entice the younger traveler. All Children are invited to participate.
MORNING CHILD CARE
Morning Child Care is available Monday-Friday, from 8:30 am-12:00 noon. Club Kids participate in a variety of FUN activities.
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
The Club Kids enjoy our activities from 6:00 pm-8:30 pm, with Special entertainment on the 2nd Wednesday of every month.
LITTLE SKIPPERS' CLUB
The Little Skippers' Club provides activities and entertainment for children of all ages. Every Friday Night the Little Skipper’s have dinner and activities, from 6:00 pm-10:00 pm. Signups for all programs is mandatory and must be made by 2:00pm the day before the event. Due to liability reasons, parents MUST remain on the club’s premises during all Little Skipper events.
Each month all of our Skipper activities will be posted on the Club Kid’s Calendar and in the Club’s lobby explaining the details of each event. We are also available to host your child’s birthday party at the Club. If you have any questions regarding The Little Skipper’s Club please call me at 954-942-7244. FAMILY ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE
LPYRC Family Activities Committee meets monthly to plan Kid’s Club events in response to member’s requests.

BRUNCH WITH THE EASTER BUNNY AND THE EASTER EGG HUNT
Peter Cottontail arrives by boat for hugs, dancing and photos with the Club Kids; followed by the EGG HUNT.
FAMILY POOL PARTIES
Featuring barbecue, music, pool games, waterslides, fun for the whole family.
KID’S FEAST WITH THE BEASTS
Interactive animal show featuring lemur, honey bear, python, anteater and more.
KID’S HALLOWEEN PARTY
Kid’s Halloween Party with Halloween costume contest, trick or treat program and games.
BRUNCH WITH SANTA
Have your picture taken with Santa, dance with Frosty the Snowman, ride the trackless train, and enjoy brunch with Santa.
KID’S SUMMER INSTRUCTIONAL
SPORTS CAMP
On the Courts:
Students will perfect their tennis strokes through drills and games with Fausto Villarroel, a Certified U.S.P.T. Pro.
At the Pool:
Children will improve their swimming skills through lessons and games, with certified American Red Cross Instructor Kristen Butler.
